Finally our tree is decorated. We've had it for two weeks now? Or is it three?? Well, we got it what seems like forever ago! (poor thing is already drying out no matter how much we water it...)
I tell ya, it didn't look as big outside as it did in our living room once we got it in and set up! That sucker is huge! It took me all evening to string the lights on - ALL our lights - and I'd be happy with more. (I love lots and lots of white lights. I take after my mom and sis on this one.)
It took another few days before we had time as a family to decorate, and even when that finally happened, my back was on the outs, so I played a minimal part.
But here it is. Our tree. Decked out in ornaments that each tell a story. That's what I love. I love the memories that are made and brought back to life each Christmas as we pull an ornament out of the box and the girls are heard saying, "Oh I remember THIS one! It's from that time...."

Your tree and home are absolutely beautiful this year. Thanks for letting us all come and partake of the atmosphere. Merry Christmas.
Your tree is beautiful! I love being at your house! :-)
Forget the tree, you are just beautiful! It's like everything you touch just is beautiful! Can hardly wait to see the next little hansen. Merriest of Christmases to you and your darling crew!
I love the tree, and the bigger the better, right?
"Now this here is a tree!" Quote from the movie The Christmas Story, the one with Ralphie. We love that movie! Anyway, I love your tree. I bet it smells good, too. For the past few years we just pull out our fake tree. Its not as exciting as a real tree but it is still fun to decorate. I love the memories that each ornament represents, too, that's half the fun!
JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's a purdy tree!
I think your tree looks great! I love the picture of you and Christian and Santa - at least he's not crying! I think I'll be sad the day my kids stop being attached to my leg!
