Cheesier Than Cheesy

Ok, so new song. I just couldn't resist!!
Julee recently made a post on The New Kids on the Block going on tour again and boy oh boy did it bring back memories for me.
So this song is dedicated to Julee, Paula and Carly. Back in the day (I was 12, I think), when we had no internet to google lyrics to our favorite songs nor iTunes to download these favorite songs, we had to learn the lyrics the old skool way: Recording the song off the radio onto a blank tape, press play, pause, rewind, play, pause, rewind as we recorded the lyrics onto our paper. (remember doing this at Papa's, Carly??) Yes, I know ALL the words to most NKOTB songs from that first cassette tape... My dear husband despises music like this, which just cracks me up when I pull it out to listen to it. haha!
Enjoy my blast from the past, as cheesy as it is.

I remember we had a VHS tape of them singing. We watched it so much that the tape started rolling until we could not watch anymore. I started laughing when I heard the song. Very funny, thanks for the memory!

I missed out on the NKOTB train...but I guess that's cause I was too busy listening to Cindy Lauper and {cough} Madonna (there I said it!). I LOVED Cindy's "Girl's Just Want to Have Fun" and Madonna's "Material Girl".

I remember spending time recording music from Casey kasem's top 20 countdown. I was a huge NKOTB fan too. We had the VHS too...still do. LOL!

Oh, my! I used to get lyrics that way, too. So funny... and time consuming! Great blast from the past, Rachel! I hope that you're able to go to their concert. You will be going, won't you? :-)

So does this mean you and Carly are going to the NKOTB "Jordan's 38 and didn't get any movie deals like the Wallberg brothers, and so is now starving for attention and needs some money Reunion Tour"

That's for President of the Love and Rockets fan club, Martin Big-Hair Hansen!

I was in love with Joe, the curly haired one. I think I remember that was his name anyways. I was a huge fan......woah, oh, oh, oh ,oh hangin tough. That's all I can remember right now, but I am going to find some of their songs and refresh my brain:0)

My first boy band crush was Duran Duran. I wanted to marry Simon Lebon (don't know if I spelled his name right). I'd wait by my radio just waiting for one of their songs to come on! But I also got sucked into the NKOTB phenomenon! How funny!

I'm Joe...loveable Leo! Oh, how I spent the hours with NKOTB! I dreamed about Jonathan, cause he was the shy, quiet one. I thought that was intriguing. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
