As Promised...

As promised, an update on Delaney's appointment yesterday. Let's just say it was GREAT NEWS!
We met here in town with a pediatric cardiologist from OHSU who has gone over Delaney's chart. He explained the ASD a bit more to us and told us that he really strongly feels that all is well with her - that it's nothing to worry about or act upon at this point. He said to treat her normally, as we would with any other baby. In a year, we will do another heart echo to see what has become of her ASD. Until then, I am putting it out of my mind. Really I am. I *knew* going in to the appointment that is what we'd hear. Sometimes a mom just knows. I couldn't be more pleased. And I count my blessings for a healthy baby girl.
