Autumn Days

It all began with a couple rakes, a couple thousand beautiful autumn leaves and two determined and very helpful children...

It was the most perfect day for raking leaves - the sun was out and the temperature was fairly high for a November day. (notice the short sleeves on my angels?)
It was also the most perfect day for an impromptu photo shoot. Let's just say the raking didn't get finished that afternoon!

My favorite shot of the afternoon:

Photobucket
Poor Delaney wasn't so excited about the shoot.

And one final picture. I had put my camera down to help Delaney...
and Christian grabbed it.
This is him taking our picture (not so bad for a 3 year old monkey) as I'm gritting my teeth praying he doesn't drop the camera.

(To answer any questions on where Miss Olivia was and why she isn't it any of these shots: She wasn't home, but instead was at a research study on tobacco earning $25 cash for herself!! Lucky Duck!)

Christian did a dang pretty good job of taking that picture. you look so great. My kids raked the leaves a few weeks ago now I am wishing I would have taken pictures. Morgan is so pretty. I love the pictures of them against the tree too.

Wow! Great pictures! Love the leaves. Love that the kids were working so hard to rake them up. Love that you recognized a moment and had fun with the kiddos.

How fun was that??!! Not only have I not blogged in so long, but I haven't even checked blogs! So, I just got caught up on all the fun things you and your family have been up to! School, soccer, time with family, Halloween, TOFW, canning, time with friends...your kids are so cute and growing up so fast! I'm glad you're such a diligent blogger--it was so great to see you again :)

Beautiful pictures, I even like the one of D crying. I found that I only take pictures of them happy, and I miss seeing their crumpiness. No baby here yet, though I did have contractions for over six hours yesterday, but then they stopped, so sad.
