Memory Lane...the tag that gets everyone involved.
I got this from Audra's blog. Be a good sport and play along.
Here are the directions:
- As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
- Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

20 VERY much appreciated comments:
I have so many memories, but one of my fondest is when you came to visit me in AZ and we had a whole week to play together, but a wonderful spa day together facials, pedicures, manicures, and massages. Then we decorated Jessica room for her birthday. Thanks for the great paintings of the girls names on canvas. Which they still use. Love you!!!!!!
Dancing in the livingroom at Steve and Mel's wedding. So much fun.
I remember when you and Martin got engaged and hearing Karen & Ludene talk about how they absolutely LOVED you.
When you and Martin came to the Temple for Tim and I's sealing!
The thing that I always laugh about when I think of you ..
For about 6 month's every time I went to Target I would see you..
I almost felt like I was stalking you!!
I would even see you at other stores and go the other way because.. I did not want you to think I WAS stalking you! lol!!!
ok..I am a DORK! Now every one can see that..
I thought the Hansen boys were so handsome and so cool. When you married Martin, I thought he was the lucky one because you are so beautiful!
One of my favorites is the time we were driving to the family reunion in Utah and drove the motorhome all by ourselves through that little tunnel!☺
I remember right after you got engaged to Martin that you came to speak at my mission farewell. In the program I had asked that they print your name as Rachel HANSEN. You were sitting up on the stand with me and didn't notice until right before the prayer and then let out the most delightful squeal! Yes, people looked, I'm sure there were later murmurs in Relief Society... but that was a look and and a sound that I have yet to forget.
The name is old hat now, but it was so new and shiny then.
Eating Fuddruckers at Steve and Mel's wedding and how my Mom could not say the name right!
OK. We haven't had many memories together, but the one time we hung out at your sister's house before Karen's wedding was fun. We did yoga and we went to get haircuts in Downtown Portland and everything. I don't remember why you said this, but it has stuck with me ever since. You said something to the effect of, "I wish you were my friend". It made me feel so great that someone would make that comment to me.
There's nothing like seeing two parents who love their children more than anything and would do whatever it takes to ensure their happiness. Always my favorite memory of both you and Martin.
I don't remember when we started to know each other but it seems that we have for awhile. I do remember that when they split our wards you asked if I was going to be in your ward. That you had wanted me to be there. I thought that was so sweet. It's always nice to be wanted. Then there was the time we saw you and Martin at Seaside. We all know what happened after that. Its always good to see you and I look forward to creating lots of memories with you.
There are SO many memories...but I think the funniest and saddest one is when we were begging Martin to let you come to girls camp when you were pregnant with Christian and he would NOT budge! I think I promise the sun, moon, stars and that you would not have to lift a FINGER to do anything and he still said no! LOL! Love you! It as so good to see you on Thursday! I miss you SOOOOOO much!
17 years of friendship and a few of them living together...too many memories to narrow it down. My favorite though is just the memory of what a great friend you have always been and the trust that you always will be! loves!
I remember Martin was dating you. We lived in Springfield, and I was overdue with our first baby. I think Martin wanted to see how you'd do around a new baby (testing the motherhood factor since he knew you were such a kind, sweet, fantastic babe). The only problem was that I STILL hadn't delivered! But, I remember meeting you, and seeing his face, and how happy he was. I knew he'd marry you, and I was happy he'd found such a great wife!
It's the smartest decision he's ever made (and vice versa), wouldn't you say?
What a great idea!
Ok...I know that I don't know you THAT well but here is my memory...I remember meeting you once after Jamie was newly baptized and he started attending SCII Ward. I don't believe you were even IN that Ward but your ward met in the same building. You greeted us in the hall with the sweetest smile and the most sincere, kind words (I don't remember what they were but they made a wonderful impression on me).
AND...I have really enjoyed getting to know you through your blog. Every time I visit...it makes me smile :)
Meeting you at Steve and Mel's wedding and dancing in the living room with you and then going to that neighbor's party at Kent and Ludene's where we danced some more. You're so fun, Rachel! Wish we lived closer so we could dance some more.
I remember jumping on the trampoline at my parent's house when you came to visit Seattle. I also remember going to your house in Portland and sending packages to Mike and you made us open face tuna, tomato and cheese grilled sandwiches-still love those. Lot's more memories! I always looked up to you and thought the world of you-still do!!! Thanks for being such a good example and for always making me feel special.
I remember how you called me to talk about a sensitive issue, even though you didn't know me well. And how thankful I was that you would do that. Thanks for caring about our family.
My memory is when I was playing Football and You and your family came to watch me play. It meant so much to me and I have never forgotten it. Thanks for being there. Love ya
