Family Tubing Day

Photobucket
Two days before Christmas, the whole { H } clan - local at least - headed up to the snow to do some tubing on the Autobahn. HOLY FUN!
I was a bit worried about my tailbone (Dec.3 I took a good spill and it's still sore) but once we got up there and I saw there was no impact on your rear end, I decided to go for it. AND GLAD I DID! What a blast!
The day couldn't have been any better. The sun was bright. The snow was compacted just right to slide fast! And my kiddos stayed warm. What more could we ask for?

What fun! I wonder if we have any place like that here in Utah. It seems like we should, for goodness sake, with all our snow! I'll have to look into that.

When you said the whole local { H } clan...you forgot me. :(

I was sad to miss it.

Holy Fun! I am jealous. We have tons of snow here but there is no sledding to be had. Too much school. I always love spending time with the family. I love the pictures.

So much fun! And Michael has a hirken beard!!! O.K., so we've heard of that Autobon place at Hoo-doo, but we were cheap and took our sleds to a spot right across from Hoo-doo. One of these days we will have to check it out. It looks amazing!

I miss those cute Hansens, yes I do. So adorable in snow clothes! Here in Utah I go out in a sweatshirt. Guess I am acclimated.

Everyone is complaining about our lack of snow up here. And I just can't go there. No snow=no slippery driving, no wet boots in my hallway, no trying to find gloves before school.

THAT is my kind of snow: drive up to a mountain and enjoy it and then drive away!
